FUNDING STRATEGY NEEDS 2026

VFW Post 6418 is committed to securing the future of our local veterans. From January to June 2026,St. Albans VFW Post 6418 will make applications (averaging one new grant application every single day) in order to fund our community outreach programs. However, grants often cover only a portion of the need. Your individual donations bridge the gap, allowing us to provide immediate assistance and expand our veteran programs. On Monday, January 19, 2026, an online grant application was submitted to Nucor Steel West Virginia and Bass Pro Shops Cabela's 

Prior to Monday, January 19, 2026, grant applications were submitted to the St. Albans Convention & Visitors Bureau and Mardi Gras Casino & Resort.

Tuesday, January 20th, 2026. Started application for grant from Walmart
