Gun Raffle tickets are currently being sold by the VFW Department of West Virginia for a Ruger American Generation II 270 rifle with Sig Sauer Buckmaster scope. VFW Post 6418 has on-hand Gun Raffle Tickets for this Raffle. The drawing for the Rifle will be at the Fall Conference evening barbecue event in November. The winning ticketholder does not have to be present to win.

Initial planning for this project has been started by VFW Post 6418 and is supported by the St. Albans, West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The VFW Riders Groups National Committee Meeting was held at the 2025 VFW National Convention in Columbus, Ohio, in August 2025. Proposed VFW Riders Group changes were approved. National bylaws to be drafted.
