'FALL FESTIVAL AT MORGAN KITCHEN' Saturday, September 27th, 2025, 8 am - 4 pm at Morgan Kitchen Plantation Museum on Rt. 60 in St. Albans, West Virginia. Initial planning for this project has been started by VFW Post 6418 and is supported by the St. Albans, West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The VFW Department of West Virginia is currently selling Gun Raffle tickets for a Ruger American Generation II 270 rifle with Sig Sauer Buckmaster scope. VFW Post 6418 has on-hand gun raffle tickets for this event. The drawing for the rifle will be at the Fall Conference evening barbecue event in November. The winning ticketholder does not have to be present to win.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Approximately 50 Backpacks were given to HOMELESS VETERANS on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 'VETERANS STAND DOWN' held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 314 Donnally St., Charleston, West Virginia. Had several female veterans' backpacks remaining at the end of "Stand Down." Those were given to female soldiers of the West Virginia Army National Guard, currently working without pay due to the government shutdown.
