OPENING CEREMONIES
    
The Moving Wall was organized by St. Albans VFW Post 6418.
It was on display in St. Albans, West Virginia, June 25–29, 2026,
at the St. Albans Shopping Center on Rt. 60.
Opening ceremonies took place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, during the display period.
St. Albans Post 6418 was awarded West Virginia VFW Post of the Year by the Dept. of West Virginia.

 Other programs and events include the following.
  • JROTC: Our Award Nomination, previously canceled due to budget constraints, has been reviewed for implementation by the St. Albans VFW Post 6418 All State Commander (2025-2026). If adopted by VFW Post 6418, the winning Cadet will receive a $750 check to further their education. 
  • VFW POST MEETING, JULY 16, 2026. Starts at 6 p.m. Location: 1011 Pennsylvania Ave.,   St. Albans, West Virginia.
VFW Post 6418 is also focused on OFFICER TRAINING & SUPPORT, Recruitment & Retention, and Grant Writing to ensure our post remains strong and sustainable. Whether it's through an Honor Guard detail or a local outreach event, there are many ways to get involved.
