BACKPACKS 4 VETERANS is VFW Post 6418's official 'Day of Service' event scheduled for May 2026. We will spend Wednesday, May 6, 2026, collecting personal hygiene products and packing them into donated backpacks. These backpacks will be filled with personal items and distributed to homeless individuals and Veterans-in-Need. We are seeking Fifty (50) New Backpacks to be given to The Homeless, including Homeless Veterans-In-Need, in the St. Albans Area.
