National Recognition – July 2026

St. Albans VFW Post 6418 was formally honored at the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Convention in Reno, Nevada, in July 2026, where national award recipients from across the United States were recognized for excellence in community service, veteran support, and sustained commitment to their local communities.

Commander Jerry Mollohan of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6418 has been officially recognized as an All‑American Post Commander, receiving the national award from the VFW Commander‑in‑Chief during the 125th National Convention held in Reno, Nevada.

This distinction places Commander Mollohan among the top-performing VFW Post Commanders nationwide. The All‑American designation is awarded only to those who demonstrate exceptional leadership, achieve outstanding membership growth, and maintain exemplary standards in community service, veterans’ advocacy, and organizational excellence.

The honor reflects the sustained achievements of VFW Post 6418 and its commitment to serving veterans, families, and the St. Albans community.

This national recognition adds to Post 6418’s distinguished record as a 2025–2026 All‑State and All‑America Post, Dept. of West Virginia VFW Post of the Year and "Captain" of the VFW Post All-State Commanders, reflecting excellence in membership, community engagement, veterans’ support programs, and VFW leadership standards.
