"BACKPACKS4VETERANS" is a Joint Program of VFW Post 6418 and VFW Riders Post 6418. Together, we attended and personally handed out Fifty (50) backpacks filled with Donated Personal Items to Homeless Veterans at a Veterans Stand Down in Charleston, West Virginia, held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025.  Prior to that event, we had given Backpacks to the VA Homeless Veteran Outreach in Huntington for distribution to the area's homeless veteran population.
