Welcome to St. Albans, West Virginia's "All America" VFW Post 6418.
Founded in St. Albans, West Virginia, on October 3, 1957.
The All-American program honors teamwork, leadership, and
achievement in VFW programs and membership growth, Post 6418
attained that distinction for the 2024–2025 VFW Administrative Year.
With your support, guidance, and assistance, we will repeat the process in 2025–2026.
Veterans and everyone associated with them will benefit from this website.
For everyone who chooses to be informed, as well as for our accomplishments.
We hope it accomplishes that goal, and we value your opinions and recommendations.
For enhancements to better serve our community and members.
The current membership percentage for VFW Post 6418 is 105.08% (62 total members).

I encourage VFW Post 6418 Veterans to get involved as our membership and activities increase. Review vfw6418.org, our new website, and lend a hand whenever and wherever you can. Should you have any questions or suggestions, or if you need help and would like to talk, please get in touch with me. You can find information about training and resources at vfw.org. Please familiarize yourself with all of the information on the VFW National Website (VFW.org). If you haven't already, you will need to create an account.
What will be made specifically for each veteran with a vfw.org account will be a "MY VFW."
Every time you visit the national website (vfw.org), you can go to "MY VFW," which gives you effortless access to everything—WHICH IS A LOT! Make the most of it.

For the 2025–2026 VFW Administrative Year, we aim to recruit one hundred (100) new members. We can make it happen if we work together.  I am counting on our members to bring in the necessary members (I have heard it can be done).
To reach our target of 100 total members. A realistic Goal, which now requires fewer than forty (40) additional members.

Meetings are held at 1011 Pennsylvania Ave—every month on the third Thursday.
Next Meeting: January 15th, 2026, starts at 6 pm. Arrive Early for Informal Discussions.
